Holding tank B34-3
« on: November 29 2023, 09:33 »
Hi - we recently bought a B34-3 (with the front head) from 1999. While the boat has a y-vent installed in the head it does not currently have a holding tank installed. As the cabin room is quite limited in the head, we assume the holding tank should be fitted under the front v-berth. Does anyone in this forum have a B34-3 with a holding tank installed and could share some pictures of the installation / holding tank model installed?

Thanks!

Best
Jannis

The factory fit was in the forecabin, but not many were made. you will need to have a tank custom made to make the most of the space. you should aim for a capacity of 40l+

Worth looking at this site as there is good advice on designing systems and they may well have made a system for your model boat. Appreciate they are in the UK and expect there will be a similar source where you are. On the other hand they are arguably the best in the business and will export.

Thanks for tour response, symphony2.

Does anyone in this forum have pictures of their (custom made) holding tank in the B34-3?
Also appreciated if you could tell where the pipes for the siphons (which I assume are needed since the toilet and holdingtank will be below the waterline) - would this be behind the head locker?
