Does anyone know the size of the lip seals on the Volvo saildrive shaft,

The actual size, not the number.

The seals are available from simply bearings in UK. If you choose viton they last longer and use stainless garter springs. Dont forget that if you have wear grooves in the shaft 3 seals x1/4 in will fit the same space as 2x 3/8th and the seal lip will fall on clean shaft. Mine has been like this for over 10 years. Geoff

I may have one at the shop that has two years use on it.  I have the upper gear housing but sold the leg earlier and I'm not sure what went.  I'll have a look later today.  If so, it is available.
