Welcome NCC,

I don't have a digital copy of the manuals.  Mine a '99 B35 E.  I believe it's very similar to the '96.  Is there anything specific you need right now?

Kind of you to reply!
Having just bought my Bav 35 in very well kept contain, I wish to know more general details about my lovely boat, with virtually no manufacturers info on the Internet.

Prior to 1997 there was no legal requirement to provide a handbook in the form that is now common. At the time your boat was built Bavaria was a (relatively) small volume builder compared with, say 10 years later so the amount of information available is much more limited. Unfortunately there have been 4 changes of ownership since then and there is nobody in the current factory that has any connection with boats of that era. On the other hand most of the original equipment came from well known manufacturers such as Volvo, Yanmar, Lewmar, Selden etc so sourcing information and spares for repairs and maintenance is not usually difficult. Biggest problem with older boats is the "improvements" made by previous owners which often deviate from the original, particularly in the areas of electrics and electronics. On the positive side, the boats are well built and if not messed about by previous owners are easy to maintain.

Good luck with your new boat.

I have a 1999 35E and the manual for the B34 of similar era is very close in terms of fitted equipment (obviously weights etc will be different). There is a 2001 B34 manual in the Owners Manuals download section (bottom page 1) and you can also find engine manuals as well.
