Draining Calorifier
« on: February 15 2013, 14:58 »
Hello,

Does anyone have any tips or advice on draining the QL calorifier prior to trying to remove the element and then replacing it on our 2003 B36?  I think there is a drain pipe at the front of the engine bay with a cap on the end.

Thanks,

Andy

I changed the end cap for a shut off valve (standard B&Q issue).  Made control of  emptying the tank easier.   My pipe extended back round the engine to the rear.
