Help with panel 201 Bavaria 44 2002
« on: March 31 2019, 19:03 »
My water level indicator has stopped working for one of my tanks - showing max even when the tank is disconnected. Also if I swap the tank cables, the same indicator is bad. So... the small electronic card on the back of the 201 panel seems to be faulty.

I want to try and fix or replace this card, but can't find any info on it.

Can anyone here help me on this? Anything might help, e.g. an electronic schematic of the card, a photo of the back side of the card (which I can't dismantle due to a soldered connector on that side), or a card replacement source.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

As far as I remember you can remove the card - what seems to be soldered components (at the location of the switches on the panel) are actually sockets for the switches, so after removing the mounting screws you should be able to pull out the card (it does resist a bit).
Also - if memory serves me right there are no components on the other side.
I do not remember if full tank is high or low resistance on the sensor so it could be either a short or a disconnect on one of the traces  (they can get corroded to an extent that they break), or one of the trimmers is faulty - I believe they are used to calibrate the system.
If you do remove the card please upload a good photo of the front and the back - maybe I will find the time to create a schematic from this info.

Confirmed!
switches are not soldered to the panel but inserted to sockets, which are soldered to the panel
Leds - soldered but create no problem when removing
Other side has some passive components - resistors, diodes etc.
