My 2013 Cruiser 33 . The 301 control panel shows the percentage full of water and waste tank.
It also shows the domestic battery voltage  but when I select starter battery voltage it shows nothing .
Before I start looking for a problem . I wonder if the starter battery is maybe  not connected to the panel. I would appreciate anyone with the same boat and panel could check there's

Just a thought, is the starter battery isolator switch turned on?

Hi Symphony

I have not been back to my boat to check. But if your engine switch is off do you still get a reading .

Generally if the battery is isolated you won't have a reading on the voltmeter

Think the panel is powered from the house bank as nothing goes on until that is switched on. will try all combinations when I go to the boat tomorrow.

I've just checked on my boat.  With the starter battery turned off, the panel reads 0 volts.

Hi All

I am delighted but very embarrassed that with the engine switch on the panel shows starter battery voltage . I had assumed it would be like the Nasa battery monitor and be connected directly to the battery. So thankyou Tiger for suggesting this . I will creep away and hang my head . But I am delighted I have not got a problem
Thanks to everyone it is nice to have all the support .It is a shame we cannot all meet up but that would be a lot of sailing !

Result!  And, don't worry, we're all happy to help and we've all got much worse blunders to confess!

+1! Amen to that, Tiger.

Glad you're sorted, Tony. This is such a good forum - a huge fund of experience and technical knowledge.
