lewmar autopilot
« on: April 08 2015, 21:30 »
could anybody tell me where to fit the rudder feed back sensor to a 2013 Bavaria 36, ive bought the lewmar integra drive and the ghp20 but not sure  where the feedback sensor goes, especially as it says in the instructions to fix it to the tiller.
many thanks

MIA...slightly off topic sorry. But is your drive a Type 1 or Type 2. I am soon to fit a pilot to my Bav 42 and not sure if the Type 1 will be adequate.
Thanks
Pat

Thanks MIA....I see it is a Type 1. My Bav 42 is in Greece and next year I will bring her home to Tasmania. Via Panama. Need to fit a better autopilot, likely a Raymarine.

Hopefully I can convince myself the Type 1 drive is up to the job as the amount of extra power the Type 2 consumes is a worry.
