Panel 302 L and N issue
« on: February 05 2025, 17:01 »
Hi to all , recently had issues with water heater tripping the main switch. The panel diagram suggests L AND N us in picture . But the actual setup from the factory has the N in place of L or I am mistaken ?

Water heating popping your RCD is almost always because the heating element has corroded through and needs replacing. So you're almost certainly looking in the entirely wrong place.

Yes yes , I have already ordered a new one , but I was getting even with the heater unplugged and the switch off voltage between N and E at the plug so I opened the case to check everything . The mystery for me is that the diagram suggests L and N the opposite way, so I think that the heater switch is cutting the neutral not the load ?
