Advice please Bavaria 41 Cruiser (2003)

Advice please B41 Cruiser 2003
I am looking for advice / reassurance on buying a 20 year old B41. I am familiar with the old B36 holiday and a modern B37 cruiser and I'm now thinking of buying a 2003 B41. Will  it be similar but just a bit more space ? Is there anything specific to this model and age that I need to be concerned about ? Does the bigger engine (Volvo D2-55) have any particular problems ? Will the slightly larger and heavier boat be any trickier to handle - I often sail with just one crew member and sometimes singlehanded ?
I would be very grateful for any help from owners / regular sailors of the 41 foot cruiser especially if the boat is around 2003 in age.
