I'm about to replace my P70 with the Raymarine P70s.
I just realized that the newer P70s has only a single Seatalk NG connector, while the predecessor had two.
I have the Raymarine i70s in my cockpit next to the p70. The plotter is downstairs.

Unfortunately I do not remember the exact wiring, but is it possible that the i70s is wired to the 2nd port of the old p70?
If that could be the case, what extra parts do I need to bring along to successfully be able to replace the p70 with the p70s?

Answering this myself as Raymarine got back to me.
You would add a 5-fay connection-hub and need an extra piece of connection cable.
The hub's backbone connections remain unused.
In detail: cable currently leading to p70 will be connected to the hub, so does the i70s and the new cable would connect from the hub to the p70s.
