Running rigging B42
« on: November 23 2021, 20:25 »
Hi All...Would anyone have or know where to locate a table/list of B42 running rigging lengths and associated standard dimensions? Cheers

Welcome to the forum

I don't think such a thing exists as it is easy to either measure your existing rigging or use the standard rig dimensions that are available either in the handbook or from third party sources such as Sailboatdata as shown here uksailmakers.com/encyclopedia/1-3-rig-dimensions

So for main halyard it is twice P plus the distance from the gooseneck to the mast base and the distance to the coachroof winches. Most people leave a metre or 2 extra. Jib sheets are usually between 1.2 and 1.5 times boat length.

Hope this helps.
