B36, 2004 - Resistance of holding tank level sensor
« on: October 21 2021, 12:04 »
Anybody knows what approximately should be the sensor resistance?
My sensor was never connected and I thought of building a circuit to get the level reading.
Connecting an ohmmeter to the exposed wire ends I get several hundreds of kilo-ohms  and I suspect part of it is due to wires corrosion.

what i know, its only a full level indicator. It shown on the panel with the red led.
You can not measure any resistance unless there is no liquid contact.

Thanks. If this is the case I will continue using my good old "level meter"  - tapping along the sides of the tank and listening what sound it makes

I shine a little LED torch through the side of the tank - you can see a change as you move above and below the liquid level.
