Propane leak - help needed
« on: August 08 2021, 08:42 »
A strong gas smell is noticeable in the head - only when I open the hand-valve in one of the galley cabinets. This seems to indicate that the leak is somewhere between this valve and the cooking hub/oven. The flexible tubes from wall to hub are fine - no leaks. Hence leak is happening in the copper tubes between valve and hub connection.

I tried to trace the copper tubes but they disappear in between kitchen top and cabinet top on the hub side; or disappear behind wall panels.

Does anybody have any experience? Does anybody know the routing of the copper tubing? How to reach? Do I need to disassemble the counter top to reach? I cannot see any screws - is it glued?

I asked same question from Bavaria. Will post their reply once I receive.

Best Regards,
Koen
