factory fitted fridge
« on: July 23 2021, 00:09 »
hi looking for advice  we have a 2001 Bav 42 factory fitted   fridge keeps packing in ,so time to bite the bullet and change it
every replacement i find all pipes feed in through the side of the box , i believe the bavaria unit is fed through the bottom ,
to replace everything except the cool box itself do i have to cut the bottom off the plywood box or has anyone fitted a system that is compatible without taking the galley out .
i have replaced on a more modern boat and it was easy all pipes fed in from the side new compressor the lot
i need to do this over the next couple of days as we need our fridge for cruising ,as a second note there is no drain hole on the bottom of my fridge is that normal , will over winter take the galley to bits and upgrade insulation ect but the fridge i need one fitting asap
really appreciate all advise

You might try here keto.co.uk They do a lot of work on Bavarias as they are almost next door to Clipper Marine
