Hot water tank

I have a leak in the fitting off of the hot water tank . I have attached a photo . Can anyone tell me what it is called so I can order a new one . We don’t many metric fittings in US. Thanks

The plastic parts are a Whale Quick Connect System.
Try google it and figure out the dimensions of your fitting. Think it is available in the US too. If not, try svb.de (they have an english version of their site too). Good luck

Looks like a Frankenfitting! The white plastic half is from a Whale Quick Connect system. Someone seems to have sawn off one end from a T fitting and bodged on a brass piece, probably to adapt it to American thread fittings. No wonder it's leaking.

You can't buy this, but you can buy a Whale Quick Connect to BSP adapter (not a T fitting though) and then a BSP to local standard adapter. It will be a bit longer overall, but probably less prone to leaks.
