I looked at replaving mine a couple of years back when I was having difficulty getting fixes from cold start.  Solved problem by simply cleaning up and securing lead connection.  That aside, the best I could come up with was going to be - install a new Raystar 130 and get the Saetalk ng to Seatalk 1 convertor kit.  The solution was posted somewhere on the Raymarine forum.

The Raystar 120 often stops working because the little battery inside it needs changing.  If you Google, you'll find instructions on how to do it.
