Just got myself a Bavaria!

so yeah dove right in and bought my first boat, (other than a dinghy) which is a Bavaria 30 :) cant wait to pick it up!

Congratulations, fair winds and all that good stuff.  We just got ours - Bav 35E - a 1999 in February, here in Seattle, USofA.  What model year is your boat? 

Ours was well cared for in super clean condition.  It just seems so much superior to the usual American fare like Hunter and Catalina and even the Beneteau's and Juneau's.

I jumped up from an older 27 foot boat, so now I'm learning "systems!"   :o

got the 30 cruiser, 2006 - nothing fancy but for my first boat it will do me fine, now my lunchtimes are spent shopping for fender socks and other boating paraphernalia lol
