While on the subject of bow rollers. Has anyone fitted/designed a folding roller? Our boat is 11.3mtrs LOA. With the bow roller off or flipped back we are 10.9mtrs which means we can get into the private berths at Port Solent. These are sub-let at about half the price of the Premier Marina's berths. I have a few ideas on how to do it and I can make one up in the shop. While in the marina we would fold it back, once out of the lock we would flip it out and save £2800.00 a year!!!!!!!!!! Thoughts and sketches welcome.........
