Our cockpit table will not lower when we press the button on the helm. Not sure if it is an electrical issue with the table itself or whether it is the fuse. We don't know where the fuse is for the table so can't check this first before tearing the boat apart looking or the fault if not fuse.
Please advise on fuse as well as frequently reported issues on this which may shorten the work to rectify.
Thanks
Jonathan

Wondering if you ever resolved this problem. My Vision 46 has same problem that I have yet to resolve.

It happened to my 46 too
A couple of options
1 defective controller which is situated in the lazerett near the shore powered cut out
Or
The wire drive motor has seized as water has goy into the table leg. There is no drain hole to let it out and the motor sits in the water.
I took the whole table to pieces by unscrewing it from the cockpit floor.
As usual Bavaria were no help at all.
Replaced it with a manual system

Bonjour Thomas,
Je suppose que c'est de l'eau douce,
comment est-elle rentrée dans le pied de la table ?
Bien cordialement.

The table leg is made of aluminium tubing. The smaller diameter slides inside the larger as the table goes up and down.
This is not water proof and water can get in when washing the boat.
There is no drain hole together it out.
The motor is a long thin worm drive which eventually gets too wet to work.
The table is not hydrolic it works by the worm drive expanding and contracting pushing the table up and down.

Merci beaucoup pour l'information. J'étais persuadé que les tubes étaient étanches …. dorénavant, je vais faire très attention en lavant le bateau !!

I had same issue with my manual table. Lube helped.
I also have an issue with table not properly fastened to base. Its loose and wiggles. Previous owner slapped a bolt and nut so it doesnt lower proper.
Can anyone post a pic or explain the factory connection between base leg and table?
It must be a flush connection so the table lowers proper.

I contacted Barka, the Italian manufacturer of the electric pedestal. They sent me some schematics of the pedestal. My pedestal base has a fifth screw holding a small aluminum “cup” with a drain slot. Barka said this is a Bavaria add on and not supplied by them.

Another schematic…
