Title: BJB 43.409 Switches used in FAWO Light Fittings
Post by: Nigel on October 10 2015, 10:00: The FAWO Light Fitting 06135T41197 used in many Bavarias has small switches inside like this (marked 43.409):

More details on the BJB web site (http://www.bjb.com/index.php?pid=179202&lid=4)

The hinges on the top can easily snap off, and I've just been quoted £2.50 each plus £15 delivery. However, if I buy in large quantities I can get the price down to about £1 each, I can then send to others with P&P at cost.

I decided to order rather more than the above, getting a better discount and giving members the option of getting more. The remainder will go on eBay, probably at a higher price.

Because of the better discount, they are now £1 each including UK P&P in quantities of 5 or more.

If you don't have PayPal (really?) I can send you a PayPal invoice that you can just pay with a card. There may be a small transaction fee, I don't know as I've had a PayPal account since they started.

I have paid for switches back in October 2016 and didn't receive them as Nigel fell ill at the time. I understand he has since passed away and am very sorry to hear this. I'm afraid you'll probably have to source new switches elsewhere - perhaps one of you wants to arrange a new group buy (please make a new thread if you do).

However, I paid for the switches in October 2016 and have not received them due to Nigel's illness and then his passing I have waited several months out of respect for his situation.I am not able to get a refund through PayPal at all, PayPal has advised that the recipient of the funds would need to reverse/refund my money. It's about $36 CAD.... Also, does anyone know the specifics on these switches so that I might purchase some on my own?

Post by: tiger79 on February 13 2017, 11:12: It's an unfortunate situation, but I'd have thought you could in fact get a refund from PayPal. You'd need to start an Item Not Received dispute, then escalate it to a claim. See the Help pages on the PayPal website.
