I always felt the standard cockpit table on my 2005 B39 looked a little sad so I made myself one that can seat
6 to 7 adults comfortably. If anyone wishes to copy it I don't mind e-mailing measurements. It was made by my "house carpenter" from seasoned eroko then varnished.

That looks good, it is something I need doing on my Bav 39. I still can't believe Bavaria built so many yachts with such small cockpit tables. Please email me dimensions/ design please and any more pic particularly of the supports.

Although I have a BAV 38 I am also thinking to increase the size of the cockpit table. Maybe I cannot copy the table 1:1, I can use your design and modify for my situation. So I am also interested in an e-mail with the dimensions.
Thanks in advance.

Some "factory" made tables.

I made my own "custom made" table by using those measurements...
As well B39

They look nice but pricey, did you remove the original table and if so how was it fastened to the pedestal? I suspect it's bonded on.

Hi
"did you remove the original table and if so how was it fastened to the pedestal?"
Yes. Removed.
It is fastened by using 4x screw. (pic table)
Attached also some WIP pics.

I made a cheap solution from a foldable table ( eb..). It's cheap but works. When not in use we store it in the saloon under the cushings.
