Title: Drying out /scrubbing posts with "tandem" keel
Post by: willfinch36 on September 08 2014, 11:01
My previous bav had a normal fin keel, however the new one has a tandem keel, was thinking of putting it up against the scrubbing posts to give the hull a pressure wash & change saildrive anode.

Are there any issues doing this with a tandem keel? Has anyone got an experience or tips?

Thanks,

Will

In case anyone else looks this up, the answer is no real issues, put the stand just in front of the rudder to ensure the boat didn't put any weight on the rudder, was about 2 inches between the ground and the bottom of the rudder.

Thought I'd update this and add a new picture.

Turns out if you empty the rear water tank you don't require a stand and she sits just perfect.
