Our clutch labels date from 2006 and need replacing. They sit in an 8mm wide x 45mm long recess in the handle. I haven’t found any labels that small.
Can anyone help?

Buy a Dymo printer.

Rutgerson sell sheets of labels - https://www.rutgerson.se/product/rope-clutch-labels/
I borrowed a Brother label printer and made my own...

Get one of these https://www.labelzone.co.uk/pt-e100-brother-p-touch-pte100-hand-held-label-printer . You may have to cut the label down slightly when printed. I put a quick swipe of clear nail varnish over the label to stop it peeling. Works fine. And you’ll then discover all the other stuff that it’s useful to label, including the wires behind the panel....

Dymo label printer, the USB one. Lasts 2-3 years without nailpolish, but good trick, might try that and see if they last longer!

I have the Brother P-touch mentioned. Nice and small so it's great to have on board. And cheap too! For a while, I got label crazy! Mine requires something like 6 AA batteries, which I make sure to take out of the unit each time so they don't leak in a moist environment.
