Raymarine ST60 Control Heads
« on: June 03 2015, 01:40 »
I shall be replacing the control heads for my Raymarine ST60 Autopilot, Wind and Tridata instruments for newer heads.  Is this a straight forward plug and play scenario or will they require lengthy calibration?

I have replaced the st60 with an i70 display on a stng system. I have to install an itc-5 to use the analog "geber" with the digital display.

I have to calibrate the system, but it is no problem. a few turns left an right. a short way straight ahead for the wind system and 5 different speeds to calibrate the speed index.

all in all no problem.

You may find that the new instruments are designed to be used with Raymarines SeatalkNG communication system instead of the older Seatalk that you already have, so keep in mind that some or possibly all of the communication wiring may also need to be changed.

You will need a converter if you still have any existing Raymarine equipment

Can I ask why you're replacing them?
