Bavaria 37 Cruiser, 2005.
Bavaria cuts away the metal plate for mounting windlass when no windlass is ordered at production. Now I want to mount a windlass. The problem is the base for the windlass. I am told to use 6 mm steel plate, but can the steel plate be mounted on the bulkhead to the forward cabin (can it take the load)? Or where do you find support for the steelplate to put the windlass inside the chain locker?
