I have just reorganised my alternator belts, see

However, after removing the Jubilee Clips, I discovered that although the hose has an insert, the joint is continuous, see pictures:
However, the diagram on Marine Parts Europe shows a hose in several sections:

It looks to me as if the hose has already been swivelled (in the direction I want to go) for the initial install of the alternator, I would like to swivel it just a bit more.
I'm a bit concerned about the state of the take-off on this hose, what do the experts think?
I assume I could get hoses from another source, without the marine upgrade? Any suggestions?
