Suggest you talk to a good sailmaker about your requirements and ask for their recommendations. Also worth discussing the pros and cons of furling systems. There are many good sailmakers in the UK who will make you one, but you may wish to buy one from somebody close to your boat.

Popular sailmakers in the UK include Kemps and Crusader and you will find information on gennakers on their websites.

Dear Rafael

I have a standard size Gennaker from Quantum Sails. It is 170 square meters and fits my Bavaria 50 (2009) very well.
Compared to a custom made sail, it performs well and at a reasonable price.

However, you must pay really close attention to how you fix it at the bow. I had to reinforce the bowroller, add a bowsprit and a supporting bar to the bow (like it has been done on the 55').

Good luck!
