B47 Roof Roller Blinds
« on: July 29 2014, 13:25 »
I brought home two of the roller blinds from the roof hatches. They are spring loaded, no lock mechanism (they attach onto a hook), contained in a metal tube, which has signs of corrosion. The end-caps of the tube are held on with small screws.

I plan to take them apart to re-paint. Has anybody done this?
If I fail to get them together again, does anyone know who makes them?

I recently got 2 replacements at Force 4 as mine were rusted and dripping bits onto the beds. They are ever-so slightly wider (a couple on mm each end) so you have to drill new holes for the screws, but they fit fine.
