Leaking cockpit ice chest
« on: June 02 2014, 05:13 »
Hi,

I am a little tired of getting my feet wet due to cockpit ice chest water draining onto cockpit floor. I presume this is where the water is supposed to drain to. I am thinking of putting two plugs in bottom of ice chest with plastic hose attached to one in order to drain water off at the end of the day. Has anyone fixed this issue? I have access to ice chest and steering via an access port located at the bottom of the steering pedestal.

Any ideas appreciated.
Wayne

Hi Wayne did you say water on the cockpit floor, not water on the cockpit floor, surely not, you can't be sailing her hard enough if you don't get water on the cockpit floor >:D  One of us is joking I hope it's you, maybe if you drink your beers fast you won't need ice, argh ha ha ha :rofl :rofl
Sorry couldn't help it, but a bit of water, come on harden up, I thought you sailers were a tough lot back in the mother land! ;)
