Slight leak in front cabin, masthead connections?
« on: March 03 2014, 09:31 »
Whenever it rains a small amount of water drips down the wood and ends up on the floor of the front cabin.

I have removed the plastic cover as you can see from the picture below, not particularly obvious where the water is coming from.

I assume its worth re-sealing the masthead connections with some sort of sealant. Any other place it may be coming from?

Thanks,

Will

I had the same problem on my B39. The leak was thro the deck gland carrying cables from the mast. I resealed and made sure there was a good 'swan neck' so water couldn't track straight down & haven't had a problem since.

Try Captain Tolleys Instant Crack Cure. A little squirt of the stuff over the deck gland for the wiring works a treat.
