Installing new Isotherm GE-80 fridge kit...??
« on: October 05 2024, 11:39 »
Our old fridge unit has reached the and of its days and gets less efficient every year.. (It's 36 years old, so it's done pretty well)
So a nice new Isotherm GE-80 with a flat evaporator has been obtained..
What isn't very clear in the installation manual is how the Evaporator Plate should be orientated...
Should the rib-like pipework on the plate be orientated vertically or horizontally?..
Should the pipe to the compressor be at the top or bottom of the plate?
Or does any of this even matter?...
If anyone has installed one of these, I'd be interested as to how the Evaporator should be lined up...
....Thanks   ..Bill.

Orientation doesn't matter.

Orientation doesn't matter.
Thanks, I guess that's why the installation blurb didn't mention it...Bill.
