Where to put stern seating?

I have hinged mine, as I have enough space for it to fold down flat.  Once done you will never regret it.
I believe that replacement seats are now unobtainable for my 44.

I store it hanging on pushpit.
Once Neptune grabbed it, but after some diving he gave it back!
So i glassed a piece of styrofoam on the back side.
Sorry Neptune, you need to look for another place to sit!

Mine is stored on the coach roof. No chance o loosing it from there.

Mine went to the ocean bottom in 60'.  I have ordered a new one from Bavaria.  It has taken 2+ months, in part because one of those months was August.  When I do get it, I plan to:
1. Use the fastener on the bottom
2. Drill a small hole in the back of it and run some Dynema through the hole and tie it around the stern cleat. 
3. Add foam to the bottom so it floats, in case the Dynema lets go.

I miss my helmsperson seat all the time.
