Solar Power routing
« on: August 03 2024, 07:20 »
About to install some solar panels on my 2003 Bavaria 36 owners version.

The solar controller is at the nav station on the port side.

Solar panels are (going to be) installed on the Bimini.

What is the best way to route the wiring?
I see wiring run under the port cabin, under the galley, and across to the nav station, but it would be a shorter run if I could go through the head somehow. I just don't see a run there.

Thanks in advance.

I took my wiring under the sprayhood through a deck gland to the heads ceiling out by the light fitting and ran down the edge of door inside a flex white trunking fitted to the frame edge and blends in with the sealant. Then through the bulkhead with another gland to under sink area and then a straight run to chart table.

Not putting them on the sprayhood. Putting them on the Bimini.
