Dear Forum members,

I order a new steering console for my Bavaria 320 (1990). I have the choice to spray paint it in the color of the boat.

With the standard RAL codes I come close, but it's not quite there. It is between “Oyster white” RAL 1013 and RAL 9010. (RAL 9001 it is not).

Does anyone know the correct RAL color? During that time they were delivered somewhat “beige”. Other types in the fleet of that time: 300, 340, 370, 410 and 430. The 320 was made from 1989 to 1994.

I Would love to hear the correct RAL code.

Kind regards, Arnold

It may not have been a standard colour in the first place and after over 30 years it will have changed anyway so the original will not match. If you are spraying suggest you get an expert body shop to mix paint to match what you have. Just had a similar problem with my car which is an unusual colour and the manufacturer could not identify an RAL but the repair shop mixed a perfect match.

Our 2000 era boat was RAL 9016 "Traffic white", but as Symphony says, the boat will have tanned by now and you'll have to mix it yourself if you want a perfect match.

Hi,

I did have a Bavaria 300 as our previous boat. The hull gelcoat is RAL9001 and the blue striping is RAL5010.
Same comments as previous about aging of color. Best would be to match and make color if you don’t want too big differences.

Good luck! Patrick
