New cable inside pulpit
« on: July 05 2024, 07:23 »
I have to modify the pulpit because the current one is too big for a code 0 and in the process I was thinking of renewing the cable that runs inside the pulpit.
As the room is very tight I am afraid of losing the guide. Anyone has done it and can give me advice?
I read that the cable has to be of a special type to avoid corrosion by the sea water, any advice on that?
Thks in advance.

The cable needs to be tinned. You can attach the new cable to the old to pull it through.

For de benefit of others, I thought that the cable followed the shortest way but instead it follows the green line
