My both clamps on toe railing litterally exploded in tiny pieces (my pics are too large, I could not upload them for now due to forum restrictions)

I checked for replacement and found them:

No less than 620€ for identical, poorly designed, clamps: huge galvanic corrosion between aluminium and stainless steel that led to explosion

Any alternatives to suggest ? Or DIY solutions ? My boat is a 2014 Bavaria 41. Those clamps hold my bimini tubing.

Many thanks !

Franck

I read it as 260€...

Use Duralac or similar to minimise galvanic corrosion.

Thank you for the tip about duralac. It is also called tefgel. 310€ x 2 = 620€
