Remove wood fittings around compression post
« on: January 15 2024, 21:30 »
I need to access the main bulkhead behind the compression post on our Vision 46. However, the post is nicely covered by a mahogany box from floor to ceiling. No screws or snap fasteners visible. Any ideas on how to remove it in a way that it can be put back again?
Sail, sail, sail...

Could the screws securing the compression post casing be accessed from the otherside of the bulkhead?, i.e. from the forward compartment....
It would make sense from the builders point of view to manufacture the box remotely and then simply install it as a 'unit'...
On ours it would either be from the forward heads or forward access to the forward cabin....Bill..
