Active water Filter Fiting
« on: October 12 2013, 16:27 »
Hi Guys,

Has anyone fitted an active charcoal filter to the fresh water system? There was a PBO article a couple of weeks ago, and we're keen to improve the taste from our tank.

We've a Bavaria 30 2006 model - do I guess that pipe sizes are standard, and a push-fit unit would slot in quite nicely? Or am I showing my naivety?!

Thanks for any advice,

Chris - Freebird

We have a easy solution that we have on our B37 2006. Brita sell a carbon filter that screws onto the tap instead of the diffuser with an incorporated lever so you can have filtered water for drinking and fast flowing water for washing up etc. Ours works well and needs no plumbing. Its called Brita on tap

Ref the brita tap filter - Looks like a good idea - think we'll try one as well.  Great tip - thanks.
