Does anyone have the original Elvstrom Sobstadt roller furling Genoa dimensions?

However I would not go by the standard Elvestrom dimensions. There are 2 broad approaches to buying sails. One is to order direct from one of the Asian lofts who will (like most sailmakers) have access to the standard sizes and the second is to have sails made by a local sailmaker who will come and measure the boat, discuss your requirements with you and design sails specifically for you. The second process is very likely to result in a different size and type off sail from the very basic original.

It is very common in the UK for example to use smaller overlapping headsails flatter cut with a padded luff which give better performance over a wider range of windspeed than the originals.

I just need the I and J measurements and if possible the sail luff length.

We replaced the sails on our 38 Ocean over the last couple of years with new Doyle sails.  We didn't go with exact replacement for two reasons: the first was Elstrom never responded to our requests for quote, the second was the aftermarket did.

We decided to modify the headsail slightly, which was a good idea.  We didn't like the low cut clew blocking our forward view when it was tightly sheeted.  Doyle was happy to improve our forward visibility - we are cruisers not racers - and there was no discernable loss in performance.
