bav 46 2017 keel offset

hello  every one, any one knows what is the keel offset for bav 46 2017 ? my draught is 2.10 mts, i am installing  a new chart plotter  and need to set  the  keel offset to get  the exact depth under my keel. thank you in advance

Depends on where your transducer is located. Typically a 2.1m keel is about 1.6m from the hull joint to the bottom, but the only way of knowing for certain is to actually measure the distance from the transducer to the bottom of the keel. Alternatively why not set it at the waterline so you are measuring the depth of water and subtract 2.1m from that figure to get the depth below the keel.

Totally agree, by far the safest and easiest method....

when i set ours i measured from the sensor to the floor while it was out on stands and keel was on a couple of 4inch blocks as extra.was 1.7mtr with a 1.9 keel, but you have to measure
