D2-55 not working anymore

<< < (2/3) > >>

Krumelur:
That's a good tip if the engine stutters. I'll try to remember it.
This time it was luckily only missing priming :-)

Craig:
If the engine ran rough soon after starting, it sounds like a fuel issue, particularly if the engine ran more roughly when accelerated. I would check the filters ( see if dirty)  and the off/on switch ( may be blocked by diesel bug).
Do you have a good water flow out of the exhaust? If not, check the salt water system. ( Strainer, Impellor, Heat exchanger, exhaust elbow)

kavok:
Do you use the correct starting procedure?
Push on,  wait for double bip,  then push with fast pression start, you heard another bip, wait 30 seconds and push start again.

Krumelur:
Thanks for all the responses. The problem is already solved.
The motor has a push button to prime it. It did not get enough fuel and stuttered because I forgot to use that priming pump.
It's located on the left hand side, in vicinity of the emergency stop lever.

kavok:
I have same boat and same engine.
Could you publish an image of this pump please?
