There's currently an issue where Gmail is rejecting some emails from the forum, including new user registrations. I'll probably have to upgrade the forum to fix this, which may take a while as we're cruising with limited internet access.
Meanwhile, if you're having trouble getting forum emails or registering, it may be worth trying a different (non-Google) email address.
