Scratch Cover?
« on: July 07 2022, 18:34 »
Hey everyone - clearly from me not watching my lifelines when unhooked. Arrgh!  Any ideas for how to cover, smooth this out??  Thanks!

The anodizing is gone. It'll never be whole again. If it's rough, you can sand it to smoothen. Apply aluminium etch primer (after degreasing) and then a grey paint to match the color of the anodized parts. It'll be less visible, but never the same.

I've used some metal polish and a buffer pad on an electric angle grinder/polisher.  As Yngmar said, it's never the same but looks a fair amount better.
