Scandvik basin mixer
« on: August 11 2013, 20:30 »
Can anyone tell me how to release the shower mixer tap,in the head of a Bavaria 32 year 2004 ?
There seems to be a washer horse shoe shaped holding it from underneath, any comments I would be grateful.

Going through that horseshoe shaped washer should be a threaded rod with a brass nut on it.  Undo the nut and the washer will drop down, releasing the unit.  Alternatively, the rod will come unscrewed from the unit.  Either way, it will release the tap for removal.

For which the best tool is a box spanner.
