Bow anchor roller for Bavaria 44 (2003)
« on: April 23 2022, 15:53 »
Hello, some ACE on a large power boat got caught with his props on my anchor chain broke my windlass and bent all my anchor roller. I need to replace the bow anchor roller for my 2003 Bavaria 44. Does anyone have an idea as to what was the manufacturer, brand, model or where to order it?
Thank You!

Which part do you want to replace? The complete assembly would have been made either by Bavaria or a subcontractor and if it is damaged a competent metal worker can usually repair it. If ot is just the rollers you want to replace there are many suppliers of rollers either through chandlers or on ebay. however beware of cheap ones as they are often hollow and do not stand up to hard work. Alternatively you can get a machine shop to turn you one out of acetal such as Delrin which is far superior to the usual ready made nylon ones.

Bow roller looks repairable, I'd take it to a stainless shop and get a quote.
