Add AIS to DC Panel
« on: April 15 2022, 19:45 »
Hello all,
I have a 2000 Bav31 with. Calira Sealine 420 Panel
I am installing AIS and wondering where the best connection is for the 12v DC power supply. I presume there is the +connector block to connect to.

If you have a spare switch+breaker on your panel, use that. Otherwise it's not uncommon to have it share the one for the radio. There should be a negative bus bar for the negative wire. Add an inline fuse of appropriate size for the AIS if you share the radio switch+breaker.
