Amount of cooling liquid needed?
« on: April 06 2022, 15:23 »
Since I don't know when it was last done I'd like to replace the cooling liquid in the inner circuit of my D2-55F. For convenience I'm going to by the ready-mixed original VP stuff. Looking into the workshop manual I cannot find the required amounts. Is a 5 litre bundle going to be enough?

google the engine type, on a d1 -30 its 4ltr, d2-40 its 6.5ltr, but that wont include if you have a hot water tank and piped from the engine (calorifier)
just found d2-55 is 9.5 ltr, so add a couple of ltr for hot water system.

Oh, thanks. I read 9.5 in the manual but didn't associate it with the amount of cooling liquid!
