Maintenance interval wet exhaust hose
« on: February 17 2022, 09:22 »
Does anybody have references about lifetime of the exhaust hose? Is there any known deterioration?
Suggestion when to inspect and how?
Mine is about 15 years old and seems to be original factory fitted equipment.
Has anybody changed this hose and why?

Any suggestions welcome!

Nothing specific needed. It is possible that the wall can delaminate which used to happen with older types, but it is very rare and usual symptoms are loss of engine power because of the restriction in gas flow. Visual inspection to ensure clamps are tight and there is no abrasion on the outside for example where is rests against ribs.
