Bavaria 49 Batteries wiring help
« on: December 18 2021, 14:51 »
Hi,
I just bought a Bavaria 49 (2003) but the previous owner took out the batteries.

Has anyone a picture of the wiring on the batteries?
I know that it had 3 service batteries and a starter one.

Is there no manual?

The 3 service batteries would be wired in parallel to get 3x one battery's capacity at 12V.

You can put in whatever you want.  Mine originally had 2 house batteries, then I changed it to 6 x 6v Trojans, and I now have 4 x 12v Calcium batteries.

Just wire them in parallel, and the big red wire goes on the positive at one end of the row, and the big black wire goes on the negative at the other end of the row.
