About wind vane
« on: December 08 2021, 13:17 »
A very cordial greeting to all. I am very glad I found this forum.

I am the new owner of a 2010 Cruiser 40 and I just realized that the wind vane blade has been lost.

Can you tell me what model is wearing? That way I save myself getting on the pole twice.

Thank you very much in advance.

Greetings  and good bow and winds from Mallorca

Juan

To my understanding wind pointer (like Windex) is an add-on and not standard equipment - most likely yours was installed by PO or original dealer.

My 2001 model has at least clearly retrofitted wind pointer at the mast top - needing replacement in next 2 years. Lucklily (or not) I have to take down the mast annually for winter haul-out.
